Beauty is one of the first concern when it comes to self esteem and self care, as we live in a very superficial and competitive world.
It does seem to be a relative concept, as what one finds beautiful may be somewhat common for another. However, there are definitely common grounds on what is considered nice or not. Just like we would all be amazed looking at the Niagara Falls, we all think that a smooth and even skin complexion with shiny and clean hair look nicer than a tired, spotty face covered with greasy hair.
What you may also not realise is that adopting beauty routines that clear your skin from impurities and soften your hair may already give you a brand new look to enjoy. And although beauty routines will not sustain your wellbeing and personal development on their own, they do have a role to play in it.
Indeed, what you feel and are inside is closely connected to what you give others to see. You may have noticed that when you go through a stressful period in your life, your eyes and hair will be tired and faded, while acne will pop out and say hello to your forehead, lowering your charm and mood. On the contrary, confidence boosts your attractiveness whatever the features of your face. Therefore, working on your lack of confidence will improve your attractiveness, while working on your look can help you gain confidence.
